Who is General Trix?

On the occasion of the Riddim Colony album release on 4th of October, General Trix the raggamuffin face will be here. Who didn't follow his work till now certainly know that he performed in the colony's first album in 2008 namely in the "Wha Gwaan" clip. He was already here with the band, but we didn't here him in live for a long time. He'll come again, so here's a short expository about him.
The Romanian-born MC recorded his first song at age 15,but at that time his name was Kris Tricky. In the beginning he dealt with rap, but after a few years he started to write reggae riddims. In those days he worked with romanian DJs and producers, but he was far away from an own album. In 2003 he met with Injektah and they started to organise parties. One year later the Fyah Burn Sound formed with Mighty Boogie, they played in the Trafo in 2007 on a Dance Hall fever Friday. In the following years he was in solo and with different sound systems he reached many places in Europe and during this he was working on his first album's songs. He found the ideal place for make the album in Netherlands where with the featuring of a swedish producer, Andreass Ante Johansson in 2011 the Greenlight was born. The digital reggae from the 80's and 90's defines the album with a few hip-hop and digital pop. Sort of "ultramodern oldschool".
On the official General Trix Soundcloud channel you can find a lot free download and the Greenlight album.
